Nicole Blair Adkins 
NICOLE BLAIR ADKINS (Children’s Program Coordinator/Resident Playwright)
As Children’s Program Coordinator and resident playwright at SkyPilot, Nicole B. Adkins (www.nicolebadkins.com) has overseen the development of the youth theatre AESOP PROJECT, and has contributed to THE 12 PLAYS OF CHRISTMAS, and PLANE TALK. A playwright for youth and adults, Nicole has worked with children’s theatres as a performer and teacher for over a decade. Her plays have been performed across the United States. She is a winner of the 2011 National Waldo M. and Grace C. Bonderman Playwriting Workshop, was invited to participate in the 2009 Bonderman Symposium Playwright Slam, and has been showcased in the annual Best of No Shame Theatre Virginia. She has her MFA in Children’s Literature from Hollins University, with an emphasis in Playwriting. She has a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma, and has studied Shakespeare at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Nicole is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America, Inc., Theatre for Young Audiences/USA, Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
