MONICA LAWSON (Talent)

Monica recently moved to Los Angeles from New York City and is very excited to be on the west coast pursuing film and television! She earned her BFA in Theater from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and has performed throughout New York City in theatrical, film, and television productions. Her most notable credits include ABC’s ALL MY CHILDREN, Funnyhouse of a Negro produced at the Classical Theater of Harlem, and the indie comedy Home Is Where the Heart Is. Monica has also done comedy improv at the NEW YORK COMEDY CLUB, sketch comedy with the UPRIGHT CITIZEN’S BRIGADE THEATER, performed as a voiceover artist and done commercials. Since moving to Los Angeles Monica has completed several independent films, booked a role on a pilot and a NATIONAL SPOT FOR BUDLIGHT BEER and has continued her comedic studies at the GROUNDLINGS SCHOOL.

Monica is also a yoga enthusiast, enjoys hiking in the hills and canyons of California, and completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program at YOGAWORKS, INC. Visit www.monicalawson.com.
